4TH ANNUAL PAINT PALESTINE PINK WALK/RUN:  OCTOBER 11, 2014

Paint Palestine Pink was founded in August 2010 as a non-profit organization.  It serves Anderson County and surrounding areas. The goal of Paint Palestine Pink is to increase breast cancer survival rates by providing mammograms to women and men that are uninsured and underinsured.  To apply for assistance with a mammogram go to the Mammogram Application and fill out the application form All money raised by this organization is used locally, none of the funds are sent to state or national organizations.  Funds are used strictly to benefit residents of Anderson County and immediately surrounding areas only.  This organization is completely funded by donations and run by a board of directors and community volunteers.  Since 2010 $80,000 in funds have been raised, and 1032 diagnostic/medical procedures have been provided by PPP.

The 4th Annual PAINT PALESTINE PINK walk/run will take place on October 11, 2014.  The PPP Walk/Run consists of three events, a 1.5 mile Fun Walk, a 10.5 mile Loop Walk, and a 10.5 mile Loop Run.  All three events, the 1.5 mile Fun Walk, the 10.5 mile Loop walk, and the 10.5 mile Loop run all start and finish at Texas Oncology.  The 2013 event was quite successful, with over 270 registered participants and almost $31,000.00 raised.  Walkers/runners may register on the Participant Registration page.  Volunteers may register on the Volunteer Registration page.   You may donate on the donations page.
