EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES
Paint Palestine Pink was founded in August 2010 as a non-profit organization. It serves Anderson County and surrounding areas. The goal of Paint Palestine Pink is to increase breast cancer survival rates by providing mammograms to women and men that are uninsured and underinsured. To apply for assistance with a mammogram go to the Mammogram Application and fill out the application form All money raised by this organization is used locally, none of the funds are sent to state or national organizations. Funds are used strictly to benefit residents of Anderson County and immediately surrounding areas only. This organization is completely funded by donations and run by a board of directors and community volunteers. Since 2010 $250,300 in funds have been raised, and in 2018 Paint Palestine Pink approved 250 grants for diagnostic/medical procedures. Paint Palestine Pink kicked off in October 2010 with the 1st Annual Paint Palestine Pink Festival & Education Seminar. Funds were raised for providing mammograms to uninsured and underinsured women and men.
